I was originally hired to write a six issue mini series, but that project was reconcieved as a monthly ongoing series. I signed on to write at least twelve issues, the first of which went on sale in April 2006. If you want to lay your hand on some back issues, I think your best bet will be to order them here.For those who care about this kind of thing, I’ll be following very much in Doug Moench’s steps. Or at least my interpretation of his steps. I won’t be trying to dance exactly like him, but he had some great moves with this character and I’ll be looking to cop some of them. The book will follow classic, and some not so classic, Moon Knight continuity as accurately as possible. But parts of that continuity will be getting reinterpreted. The mandate from Marvel is for a Moon Knight that can play a role in the Marvel Universe at large. So look for this guy to be back in the mix.

Expect a dark book with strong themes of madness, more madness, vengeance, and redemption. Expect to find a Moon Knight scraping bottom and looking for a way back up. Expect to see many of Moon Knight’s classic supporting cast members and a couple fresh faces. Expect the badass costume, and expect blood to be spilled.
